Jasper Police Investigate Riverwalk Assault

Jasper (NNDC) – The Jasper Police Department says it is asking for the public’s help in finding two men they say were involved in an assault along the Riverwalk Wednesday evening.

JPD says the victim suffered minor injuries in the incident that happened at about 9:30pm, but refused medical treatment at the scene.

Police say the victim describes the first mal subject as being approximately 6 feet tall, in his early 20s, average build and black hair with a buzz cut.

The victim told police the man was wearing a white tank top, dark blue basketball shorts, and had a tattoo on his left arm.

JPD says the second male subject in the alleged incident is also in his early 20s.  He’s described as being approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall, , 200 pounds.  JPD says the second man was wearing a black T-shirt and white striped shorts

The victim told police the second male subject’s hair brown and gelled.
