Henrietta Anna Lasher, 101, Bristow

Henrietta LasherHenrietta Anna Lasher, 101, of Bristow, died Monday (June 26) at her home. She was born in Santa Claus April 18, 1916, to Jacob W. and Anna Katherina (Jacobs) Weaver. She married Albert “Bert” Lasher July 19, 1941, in Chicago. He died November 11, 1994.

Henrietta was a homemaker and worked at LeClere Skids for several years. She was a member of St. Isidore Parish in Bristow, and enjoyed gardening, canning, keeping purple martins, and church picnics.

She is survived by one son, Dennis Lasher, Bristow; two daughters, Elaine LeClere and husband Tom, Jasper, and Kathy Meador and husband Raymon, Jr., Milltown; one sister, Elsie Weaver, Santa Claus; 10 grandchildren, Mike LeClere, Jim LeClere and wife Rhonda, LeDonna Fuhrman, Kyle Lasher, Crystal Eubank, Shane Leinenbach, Justin Leinenbach and wife Courtney, and Angela Vogler husband Chad; Raymond Meador Jr., and Nicole Arney; 28 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Roger Lasher; four brothers, Alvin, Hugo “Jesley”, Otillo “Zip”, and Norman “Pete” Lasher, and five sisters, Rosalinda Chmela, Henrietta Weaver, who died at birth, Pearlinda Asp, Dorothy Schaeffer, and Marina Jacobs.

Friends may call from 1-7 p.m. Thursday and from 7-9:30 a.m. Friday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Isidore Parish or to a favorite charity.
