Woman Charged With Battery At Jasper Home; Then Returns To Work

Jasper (NNDC) – An Evansville teen who works in Jasper has been charged with felony Battery Causing Bodily Injury.

Jasper police say at about 8:30pm Friday, officers were called to a home in the 700 block of North Mill Street.  When officers arrived, the suspect in an alleged battery at that address, 18-year old Emily Bell of Evansville, had left the home and returned to place of employment.

Jasper police officers located and made contact with Bell at the southside McDonald’s restaurant on U. S. 231 a short time later.

JPD says Bell was taken into custody charged with a Level 6 felony count of Battery Causing Moderate Bodily Injury.
