Two Charged With Level 3 Felony Aggravated Battery





Jasper (NNDC) – A local man and woman are now facing Level 3 felony aggravated battery charges after they allegedly battered the man’s girlfriend Sunday evening at her home.

Jasper Police Department officers were called to area of 6th and Carroll streets shortly after 6pm Sunday for a physical fight taking place involving two women a man.

JPD says officers were able to find an injured female at her home in the 1000 block of Edward Street.

The woman told officers she had been in a physical altercation with her boyfriend, who was later identified as 30-year old Damion Pryor of Jasper, whose address is also the same as the victim, and 30-year old Kimberly Wigodinski of St. Anthony.  Neither Pryor or Wigodinski were at the Edward Street address when police arrived.

JPD says the injured woman was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hospital for her injuries.

JPD says Pryor and Wigodinski later came to JPD headquarters.  JPD says both were later taken to the Dubois County Security Center where both were preliminarily charged with Level 3 felony counts of aggravated battery.
