Local Man Arrested For Child Molesting

Huntingburg (NNDC) – A Huntingburg man has been arrested for Child Molesting following a joint investigation by the Huntingburg Police Department and the Dubois County Department of Child and Family Services.

HPD says 37-year old Adam Humbert is now facing a Level 4 Felony count of Child Molesting.

HPD says the investigation began April 19th when police received DCDCF received a complaint about an incident in March concerning a four-year old girl.

HPD says detective Sgt. Christian Gogel talked with Humbert Tuesday at HPD headquarters as part of the investigation.

Humbert was taken into custody at about 6 o’clock Tuesday evening without incident.

He’s being held without bond at the Dubois County Security Center.

If convicted, a Level 4 felony in Indiana carries a maximum prison sentence of 12 years and a fine of up to $10,000.
