Jasper Goes 3-0 To Win Own Softball Invitational

At Jasper, the Lady Wildcats took top honors in their own softball invitational tournament Saturday.

Jasper won all three of its games enroute to the title including Saturday’s 7-2 win over Tecumseh to clinch the event.

Olivia Knies tossed a four-hit shutout in Jasper’s 11-0 opening game win and then scattered six hits in the win over the Lady Braves.

In Jasper’s second game, an 13-10 win over North Harrison, Jessica Mehringer and Lindsay Mehringer both homered.

At Jasper, Reece Kleinhelter gets the win on the hill for the now 3A #1 Wildcats who improve to 7-1 for the 2017 season.
