Weyer Completes Comeback; Signs With Division I St. Francis

Jasper (Local Sources) – Noelle Weyer, a track & field and cross country standout for Jasper High School has signed a national letter of intent to run a St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights, New York.

Weyer will run cross country as well as both indoor and outdoor track for the Terriers who are a member of the NCAA Division I Northeast Conference.

Thursday’s signing at JHS completes a comeback for Weyer who recovered from surgery two years ago to correct what is called “Nutcracker Syndrome,” a rare vascular compression disorder that caused her to pass out almost constantly.
