Intoxicated Employee Yells At Customers At Restaurant; Is Arrested

Jasper (NNDC) – A Dubois woman who police say was yelling at customers at a local restaurant has been arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Jasper police say 37-year old Marla Kent of Dubois was yelling at customers Tuesday afternoon at the Taco Bell restaurant on the city’s north side.

Police say Kent, an employee at the restaurant, was belligerent disorderly with both officers and customers in the parking lot when officers arrived at the restaurant at about 5:30pm.

Police say Kent’s blood alcohol content was .09% with what JPD says was a “weak sample given.”

Kent was arrested in March for Driving While Intoxicated.
