Northern Indiana Couple Facing Drug Charges In Dubois County

Jasper (NNDC) – A security check by police early Tuesday morning resulted in the arrest of two people on drug-related charges.

The Jasper Police Department says at about 2:15am, an officer noticed a van parked at Wal-Mart with two people in it.

JPD says when the officer made contact with the male and female subjects inside, the female was very ‘evasive’ in answering the officer’s questions.

A search of the van resulted in police finding marijuana, methamphetamine and paraphernalia.

The two occupants, 52-year old Robert Davis of Clarks Hill and 31-year old Brittany Abbott of Frankfort were taken into custody.

Both are charged with a Level 6 felony count of Possession of Methamphetamine, and misdemeanor counts of Possession of Marijuana and Paraphernalia.
