Jasper (NNDC) – St. Anthony native Megan Durlauf is the new director of the Dubois County Community Corrections program.

Her promotion was approved unanimously by the Dubois County Community Corrections Advisory Board Tuesday.

Durlauf succeeds William Wells, who resigned last month.

The 27-year old Durlauf, a 2007 Forest Park High School graduate, has been the program’s assistant director since October. She joined the community corrections department in 2010, first serving as a corrections officer and then, for five years, as a treatment program facilitator.

Durlauf has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University and has done graduate work in counseling at Western Kentucky University.

The former Megan Lampert is a St. Anthony native. She lives in Ferdinand with her husband, Jeff, and their two children.
