Micheline A. Lubbers, 62, St. Anthony

Micheline LubbersMicheline A. Lubbers, 62, of St. Anthony, died Thursday (March 9) at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper. She was born in Canada December 4, 1954, to Leo and Alice (Herbig) Ambs of Jasper. She married Ronald L. Lubbers May 26, 1994, in Colorado.

Micheline taught GED Adult Education Classes at Vincennes University in Jasper for 17 years and was a homemaker. She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish – St. Anthony Catholic Church. She loved her pet dogs, especially Afghan hounds and Chihuahuas, vacationing in Colorado, Longaberger baskets, anything Disney, sending greeting cards, and Christmas gatherings with family.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald L. Lubbers; two daughters, Angela Vogler and husband Chad, Jasper, and Tristany Lubbers, Washington; one son, Brandon Lubbers, Bedford; three grandchildren, Jessica Ferguson, Noblesville, and Logan and Grant Bromm, Jasper.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Divine Mercy Parish or to a favorite charity.
