Firearms; Ammunition Reported Stolen In St. Henry Area; Arrests Made

St. Henry (NNDC) – An 18-year old Huntingburg woman, free on bond for an earlier child neglect charge, has been arrested for her alleged role in a burglary in the St. Henry area where police say numerous firearms and ammunition were stolen.

Taken into custody was Justice Mundy (pictured) as was a 15-year old juvenile male.

The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department says all the items taken in the burglary have been recovered.

Mundy has been charged with Burglary (Level 5 felony) and Theft (Level 6 felony).  She’s also been charged with an additional count of Theft (Class A misdemeanor).

DCSD says the 15-year old was also cited into juvenile court on similar charges.

Mundy was arrested this past December after police determined she and her boyfriend abandoned a vehicle in sub-freezing temperatures in a westside Jasper neighborhood with their six-month old son in the vehicle.

She was free on bond for those charges at the time of the February 11th firearms/ammunition burglary.
