Paul N. “Paulie” Goepfrich, 33, Jasper

Paulie GoepfrichPaul N. “Paulie” Goepfrich, Jr., 33, of Jasper, died Saturday (February 11) at his home. He was born in Jasper May 1, 1983, to Paul Sr. and Cynthia (Hand) Goepfrich.

Paulie was a 2002 graduate of Jasper High School and was a member of the JHS band. He was also a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church. He worked at several food establishments and gas stations in the Jasper area and enjoyed playing the drums and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Bemis and husband Terry; his father; Paul Goepfrich Sr.; one sister; Valerie Lampert and husband Craig; and one brother, Gabriel Bemis, all of Jasper; his maternal grandparents, Larry and Sharon Whitman, Oakwood, Illinois; and one nephew; Patrick Lampert.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hilbert and Edna Goepfrich.

Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Thursday at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, and from 9-10 a.m. Friday Friday at Precious Blood Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Precious Blood Church, the Ehler-Danlos Society, or to a favorite charity. Online condolences may be made at A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the church with burial following in Fairview Cemetery.
