No Bowling Sectional Telecasts Today

IHSB logoWashington, IN (NNDC) – An unexpected (we’ll call it a) circumstance this morning at Kingpin Bowl in Washington is going to prevent us from televising today’s individual and team final matches of the 2017 Indiana High School Bowling sectional tournament.

NNDC made the decision to televise the bowling sectional instead of the IHSAA Wrestling Sectional at Huntingburg’s Memorial Gym only about two weeks ago according to NNDC Executive Producer Mick Birge.

He says, “though we are technically able to change venues in a short period time, but with this being a Saturday, we are not able to get rights clearance from the IHSAA to be able to televise the wrestling tournament instead today.”

Birge also says that with the company’s (NNDC) ability to televise games and events LIVE, the NNDC schedule of events changes “almost daily!”

Birge says, “we are looking forward to very ambitious spring and summer schedule of events, including local high school events this spring and youth sports this summer!”

Birge also says NNDC will be televising games “LIVE” of the upcoming IHSAA girls and boys basketball sectionals which start next week (the girls sectionals).”
