Lloyd A. Wright, Jr., 70, Birdseye

Lloyd WrightLloyd A. Wright, Jr., 70, Birdseye, died Monday (January 16) at his home. He was born in Perry County May 5, 1946, to Lloyd A. Wright, Sr. and Eithel (Underhill) Wright. He married Pansy L. Kellems June 26, 1965, in Cannelton.

Lloyd was employed as a carpenter. He was a member of the Oak Ridge Apostolic Church in Bristow and was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle rider and enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife, Pansy L. Wright; one son, Kenneth Wright and wife Jill, Birdseye; two daughters, Dawn Kissel, Grantsburg, and Joanella R. Hartley and husband Toby, Birdseye; three sisters, Lulabelle Morgan and Mary Kellems, both of Birdseye, and Carolyn King, Boonville; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Wright, one sister, Rosalie Allen, and one grandson, Daniel Wright.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. (EST) Wednesday at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Online  condolences may be shared at www.nassandson.com. Funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with burial following in Mentor Cemetery near Birdseye. Rev. David Hayes, Rev. Arlie Brock, and Rev. Bobbie Renshaw will officiate.
