Tip From Public Leads To Arrest Of Birdseye Man On Felony Drug Charges



Jasper (NNDC) – A tip from the public of suspicious activity in a Jasper pizza restaurant’s parking lot has resulted in the arrest of a Birdseye man on drug charges.

Jasper police say officers called to the parking lot of the Papa John’s restaurant in the 400 block of U.S. 231 at about 10:20pn.

JPD officers found 28-year old Christopher Bailey in the back back seat of a car in the parking lot.

JPD says officers found Bailey with methamphetamine, marijuana and some prescription pills in his possession. A scale and several small baggies were also found by police.

Bailey is now charged with a Level 5 felony count of Dealing Methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony count of Methamphetamine Possession and misdemeanor counts of Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
