Michael L. “Mick” Reynolds, 77, Jasper

michael-reynoldsMichael L. “Mick” Reynolds, 77, of Jasper, died Wednesday (December 28) at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper. He was born in Loogootee September 30, 1939, to Harry T. and Irene M. (Kidwell) Reynolds. He married Betty Erny September 12, 1964, at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper.

Mick attended Loogootee High School. He retired from the Jasper Cabinet Company where he worked for over 40 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, Jasper Moose Lodge No. 1175, American Legion Post No. 147, and Jasper Outdoor Recreation. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and training guide dogs for bird hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Reynolds; three daughters, Tina Wehr and husband Brent, Jasper, Pam Reynolds, Huntingburg, and Mary L. Gentry, Ferdinand; eight grandchildren, Nathan, Nicholas, and Mallory Wehr, Crystal Fawks, Brandon Boyer, Nolan Gentry, and Karli and Jake Kitten; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Elaine Thomas and husband Jon, Bloomfield.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, John Michael Reynolds, one brother, Harry Reynolds, and one sister, Mary Reynolds.

Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family. Funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with burial following in Fairview Cemetery.
