Jasper Man Arrested For Wielding A Handgun At People At His Home



Jasper (NNDC) – Jasper police say a local man allegedly made threats to people while wielding a handgun Friday afternoon.

The Jasper Polire wece Department says 28-year old Carlos Demichael Molinet was arrested after police were call to his home at about 1:00PM.  There police learned Molinet had allegedly was in an argument with other people in the home and pulled out a gun. JPD says officers recovered a .40 caliber handgun at the scene.

Molinet had left the home by the time JPD officers arrived. But was located a short time later when police were called about a man with a gun seen at East 14th and Mill streets.

After he was taken into custody, police charged Molinet with a Level 5 felony count of Intimidation with a Deady Weapon and a Level 6 felony count of criminal recklessnes
