DCCF Kicks Off “12 Days Of Giving”

12-days-of-givingJasper (Local Sources) – Dubois County Community Foundation will launch 12 Days of Giving, a year end blitz of granting starting on December 8. The culmination of the effort will be a $10,000 grant chosen by the public on December 21.

Each afternoon, the Foundation will be announcing $1,000 grants made that day on its Facebook page as well as here on NewsNow Dubois and on local radio stations.

All of those organizations receiving grants will then be eligible for the $10,000 grant as chosen by the public. A listing of all of the eligible nonprofits will be listed on Facebook. The public will be able to cast a vote on Wednesday, December 21, from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. for the nonprofit they want to receive the grant.

A total of $30,000 will be granted to local charity.  The first recipients of the “12 Days Of Giving” on Thursday were Freedom Reins and Shared Abundance each received a $1,000 check
