Jasper (NNDC) – Star Valley Productions, Inc., the parent company of NewsNow Dubois County and NNDC-TV 183 (Time-Warner Cable) has announced that it will begin televising home games “live” of Oakland University (MI) beginning December 5th.

Mick Birge, Executive Producer at NNDC, says the company has entered into an agreement with Oakland, a member of the NCAA Division I Horizon League, to televise home games that are produced by the university’s athletic department.

“I think people are going to like this as Oakland has on its roster Nicole Dodd, a senior guard who starred at Northeast Dubois in high school,” Birge said.  He continued, “When I saw her over the summer I told Nicole that we’d look into possibly airing some of her games during her senior season.”

“I hope this is just the first of this type of announcement for NNDC-TV as we are now actively looking at expanding our local programming options,” Birge also said.

NNDC-TV will televise LIVE the Lady Golden Grizzlies’ next home game, Monday, December 5th vs. North Dakota State.   NNDC-TV will also televise Oakland’s home game Sunday, December 11th against Ball State.
