Christmas Underway In Downtown Jasper

Jasper (Local Sources) – Santa Claus arrived in downtown Jasper over the noon hour Friday to his new “Santa House!” which now sits on the west side of the Dubois County Courthouse!

Santa visited with kids beginning at 12noon today after Mayor Terry Seitz welcomed everyone to downtown and presided over a “ribbon-cutting” for Santa’s new house.

Also dedicated is the city’s official Christmas Tree which also stands on the westside of the courthouse.  This year’s tree was donated to the city by Scott and Marsha Jones.

The tree will remain lit through the New Year.
