Lady Raiders Drop 6th Straight (Photo Gallery)

kendylHuntingburg (NNDC) – After five straight road games; and five straight losses, the Lady Raiders of new head coach Steve Rust were looking forward to returning to the friendly confines of Memorial Gym against a winless Boonville squad.

But being back home did not change the team’s fortunes as Boonville of the Big 8 Conference handed Southridge its 6th consecutive loss 43-29 despite a season-high as well as game-high 18 points from Lady Raider senior Kendyl McKeough (PICTURED).

Another slow start hurt Southridge as the Lady Pioneers (1-3) jumped out to a 12-4 after the first quarter and were never really challenged after that.

Hallie Mackabee led Boonville with 17 points; Abby Greene added 13.
