Dodd Scores Career-High In Record-Setting 2016 Home Opener For Oakland University

nicole-1ROCHESTER, Mich. – Taylor Jones scored a game-high 24 points with eight rebounds and four steals as the Oakland women’s basketball team had eight players in double figures en route to setting a school scoring record with a 126-31 win over Marygrove in the home opener on Monday.

The Golden Grizzlies also set a school records with 53 field goals made along with 73 rebounds.

Nikita Telesford posted a double-double with 18 points and 16 rebounds while Nicole Dodd, Sha’Keya Graves and Leah Somerfield each added 13 points.

Dodd’s 13 points was a career-high for the senior (pictured) out of Northeast Dubois High School.  Her previous career high was 12 points in three games last season.
