Joyce L. Kempf, 75, Schnellville

Jjoyce-kempfoyce L. Kempf, 75, of Schnellville, died Wednesday (November 9) at her home. She was born in Duff November 3, 1941, to Virgil and Grace (Jeffries) Huntman. She married Harold Kempf August 12, 1961, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville.

Joyce worked at Kimball Electronics, K-Mart, and Fifth Third Bank in Jasper. She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish – Sacred Heart Campus in Schnellville and the Schnellville Conservation and Community Clubs. She enjoyed reading and fishing with her husband.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Kempf; four daughters, Sara Hoffman and husband Scott, Ferdinand, and Sandra Linne and husband, Keith, Sharon Stout and companion Russell Hanna, and Staci Jacob, all of Schnellville; 13 grandchildren; and three sisters, Marilyn Pfaff, Ireland, Carol Crandall, and husband, Forrest, Antigo, Wisconsin, and Eunice Hupp and husband, Lee, Mitchell.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin Huntman.

Friends may call from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Divine Mercy Parish or to the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center.
