Ferdinand (Local Sources) – A traffic stop this afternoon led to the arrest of two California natives and the seizure of a significant quantity of marijuana.

At 1:00 P.M. this afternoon, Master Trooper Brian LaRoche pulled over a 2007 Toyota for speeding along Interstate 64 near the Ferdinand exit.  While conducting the traffic stop, Trooper LaRoche smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, giving him probable cause to conduct a vehicle search.
