Dubois County Bombers JPG colorHuningburg (Local Sources) – The Dubois County Bombers are excited to welcome the Henderson Flash to the Ohio Valley League (OVL) for the 2017 season.

The Ohio Valley League announced the addition over the weekend. Henderson County High School Field in Henderson, Kentucky will be home to the Flash.

With 8 teams now in the OVL, the league has been divided into 2 Divisions. The East Division will be made up of the Dubois County Bombers, Owensboro Oilers, Muhlenberg County Stallions and the Henderson Flash.

The West Division will consist of the Fulton Railroaders, Hoptown Hoppers, Madisonville Miners and Paducah Chiefs.

Additionally, it was announced that the League will not schedule games on Mondays. Mondays will be reserved for rainout dates.

“The addition of Henderson to the OVL is really good news for the Bombers and the League,” according to Bombers Managing Partner, Mike Uebelhor.

“Not only does it add excitement, but with the League now grown to eight teams and divided into two divisions, travel expenses for all of the OVL teams will be reduced.”

Uebelhor added, “We hope for no rainouts in 2017, but having Mondays available, if needed, is good for everyone – league, teams & fans.”
