Janet L. Pfaff, 77, Jasper

janet-pfaffJanet L. Pfaff, 77, of Jasper, died Wednesday (October 19) at her home. She was born in Jasper June 8, 1939, to Anthony and Ardella (Mehringer) Wehr. She married Vic Pfaff November 13, 1959, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

She recently worked for Pfaff’s Lawn Care in Jasper and held various other jobs throughout her life. She and her husband operated a honey bee business – “Vic’s Honey House”. She was a member of Redemption Christian Church of Jasper, was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Indiana University sports fan, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Vic Pfaff; frour sons, Brian Pfaff and wife Angie, and Ryan Pfaff, all of Jasper, Mark Pfaff and wife Tami, Otwell, and Mike Pfaff and wife Laura, Herndon; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; one sister, Marjorie Mohr and husband John, Jr., Ferdinand; and one brother, Allen Wehr and wife Kim, Danville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Sue Brown.

Friends may call from 1-5 p.m. Sunday at Redemption Christian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Redemption Christian Church or to a favorite charity.
