JPD Looking For Stolen Vehicle; DCSD Says Someone Dumped Trash At HCC

Jasper (NNDC) – The Jasper Police Department is asking for help from the public to locate a vehicle reported stolen at about 4:30 p.m. Monday.

According to police, the vehicle taken was a gray 2008 Toyota Scion, license plate number WWD393. It has a large crack on the windshield and a Batman sticker on the rear end.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the department at 812-482-2255 or on the anonymous tip line at 812-481-2677 (COPS).

Meanwhile, The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the person or people responsible for illegally dumping trash and discarded debris at the Huntingburg Conservation Club.

DCSD says four large trash bags and a pile of plaster (pictured) were found on the south side of the HCC property southeast of the clubhouse this past Saturday morning.

DCSD is asking if anyone has any information about the trash, they are asked to call the sheriff’s department at 812-481-3522. All callers can remain anonymous.
