Sturgeon2Anthony Scott Sturgeon, 30, of Ferdinand, died Saturday (August 13) in Jasper. He was born in Huntingburg November 1, 1985, to Randy Sturgeon and Gayle (Seitz) Rasche.

Anthony was a tattoo artist. He loved to fish, listen to music, and spend time with family.

He is survived by his parents, Randy and Mindy Sturgeon, Ferdinand, and Chris Rasche, Jasper; one brother, Shawn Sturgeon, Vincennes; one sister, Kendra Sturgeon, Mt. Vernon; four step-brothers, Jarod Farris,Oregon, Luke Hill, Evansville, Matt Hill, Lafayette, and Clayton Harris, St. Louis; his grandparents, Dennis and Diane Reutman, Ferdinand, Harold and Janet Sturgeon, Bristow, Jim and Mary Rasche, Jasper, and Pat Ryan, Evanville; his fiancé, Kelsey Lance, Ferdinand, and three stepchildren, Rylee, Breena and Bane.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Vernon Seitz and Linda Fleck.

Friends may call from 2-7 p.m. Tuesday and from 8-10 a.m. Wednesday at Nazarene Church in Huntingburg. Online condolences may be shared at Funeral services at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial following in Bretzville Cemetery. Brother William Covey, Pastor Leroy Powell and Pastor Daryl Land will officiate services.
