Local Man Killed In Accident North Of Evansville (VIDEO)

UPDATE:  The Vanderburgh Sheriff’s Department says a 2010 Ford Fusion driven by 19-year old Bailey Crowell of Evansville was traveling east on E. Hillsdale Road when he entered the intersection at U.S. 41.

That’s when deputies says the Fusion struck Robert Turner’s northbound SUV.

The force of the collision caused the SUV to roll over several times before it struck a second SUV.

VCSD says Turner died at the scene.  Three passengers in the SUV with him and Crowell were transported by ambulance to the hospital.

VCSD says The investigation will remain open pending a full crash reconstruction and toxicology results.
