Haysville (NNDC) – 19-year old Elizabeth “Liz” Huebner was crowned Haysville’s Bicentennial Queen Sunday at a pageant held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Liz and her court will preside over this week’s 200th community celebration.  For Huebner, she is the first Miss Haysville to be crowned in 25 years.  The community hosts a queen’s pageant every quarter century.  A crowd of about 100 gathered at St. Paul’s Sunday for the ceremony.

16-year old Emily Kieffner was named first runner-up and 16-year old Paige Andrews was named Miss Congeniality.  Also named to the celebration’s court this week was 11-year old Ashley Nail as Junior Miss Haysville, and 8-year old Madison Nail as Little Miss Haysville.  7-year old Dax Smith was named Little Mister Haysville.

The Haysville Bicentennial Celebration officially kicks off Thursday, June 30th and runs through Sunday, July 3rd.
