Chiefs Hand Bombers 3rd Straight Loss

Paducah, KY (Local Sources) – The host Paducah Chiefs handed the Bombers their third straight loss with a 5-2 win Monday night.

The Chiefs score a run in the first and fourth innings to take a 2-0 lead. The Bombers tied the game scoring one run in each of the fifth and sixth innings. Paducah responsed in the bottom of the sixth to put up 2 runs and regain the lead. The Chiefs added another run in the eighth to complete the final score. Paducah had 10 hits total and 3 errors. Jason Priest contributed a homerun for Paducah with 2 RBI. Dubois County had 9 hits and 2 errors.

Dubois County’s record is now 10-6.

The Bombers travel to Muhlenberg County tonight (Tuesday) and will be at home on Thursday when they take on the Oilers for College Night/Thirsty Thursday.
