Glenn Seger, 64, Otwell

Glenn SegerGlenn Seger, 64, of Otwell, died Saturday (June 11) at the University of Louisville Medical Center. He was born in Jasper April 15, 1952, to Jerome and Wilma Jean (Lechner) Seger. He married Susanne Miller November 24, 1984, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland.

Glenn retired from OFS Furniture in Huntingburg after many years of work. He was a 1970 graduate of Jasper HighSchool. He coached youth basketball, football and baseball in Pike County for a number of years, was an avid hunter, and enjoyed walking.

He is survived by his wife, Susanne Seger; one son, Buck Seger and wife Camelia, Winslow; two grandchildren, Ava and Hunter; three sisters, Linda Parker and husband Stephen, Hawaii, Sherry Seger, Bloomington, and Karen Uebelhor, Huntingburg, and four brothers, Steve Seger, Evansville, Dave Seger and wife Anita and Wayne Seger and wife Bonnie, all of Jasper, and Terry Seger and wife Branda, Velpen.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at the Ireland Sportsman Center in Ireland at 1 p.m. Sunday with friends and family gathering until 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Pike County Youth Sports or to a favorite charity.
