Michael F. Patterson, 75, Jasper

Mike PattersonMichael F. Patterson, 75, of Jasper, died Wednesday (June 1) at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. He was born in Loogootee February 25, 1941, to Timothy and Bernadine (Nordhoff) Patterson. He married Judy Dedrick June 29, 1968, in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

Mike retired from Jasper Cabinet Company after more than 30 years of service. He was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper, the Jasper Knights of Columbus, and Jasper Moose Lodge No. 1175. He enjoyed golf, playing cards, watching Indiana University sports, spending time outdoors, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Patterson; two sons, Charles Patterson and wife Linda and Aaron Patterson and wife Pam, all of Jasper; four grandchildren, Danielle Brassard, and Chase, Kylie, and Caleb Patterson; and four brothers, Kenneth Patterson and wife Lu, Eureka, Missouri, Justin Patterson and wife Elsie, Upham, Virginia, Louis Patterson and wife Clarissa, West Baden Springs, and John Patterson and wife Pam, Montgomery, Texas.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Rosemarie Schnarr, and one brother, Robert Patterson.

Friends may call from 1-5 p.m. Sunday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. The Jasper Moose will host a memorial service at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Precious Blood Church, The Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center, or to a favorite charity.
