NEW “Unroofed” Concert Series Planned For Jasper Riverwalk

PrintJasper (Local Sources) – “Unroofed” is a new concert series featuring three free outdoo concerts under one Dubois County sky.  The first concert is set to take place Saturday, May 21 from 2-5pm (EST) at the Dave Buehler Plaza on the Jasper Riverwalk.

The band to kick off the concert series is from Nashville TN called Nikki Michelle & the Cosmic Collective featuring a variety of songs from Norah
Jones, Adele, The Temptations, Etta James, Marvin Gaye, and more! Jazz vocalist Nikki Michelle Elias performs in various jazz oriented groups
around the US and is recognized for her work in composing and arranging music.

The family-friendly concerts are free to attend and will have a beer and wine garden available to purchase drinks as well as a food stand selling sandwiches.

All profits will be donated to ROJAC (Redevelop Old JasperAction Coalition).

The ROJAC organization lead the effort to provide Jasper with the downtown improvements along the Patoka River including the Dave Buehler Plaza, Jasper Riverwalk, The Jasper City Mill & Spirit of Jasper Train and Train Depot.

Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the afternoon with great music, food & drinks (no coolers allowed) along the river!

The concert series continues on Friday, June 24 from 5:30-8pm featuring the Studebakers playing classic rock with a touch of country.

Saturday, July 16 is the final concert taking place from 4-7pm featuring a band from Indianapolis called Island Breeze playing island music featuring steel drums!
