Wanda R. Lytle, 81, Jasper

Wanda LytleWanda R. Lytle, 81, of Jasper, died Friday (May 6) at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville. She was born in Burkett, Texas, July 12, 1934, to Walter and Nellon (Nelson) Martin. She married Wayne Lytle December 21, 1951, in Corpus Christie, Texas.

Wanda was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church in Jasper.   She participated in the RSVP volunteer program and was a volunteer at Memorial Hospital in Jasper. She enjoyed traveling and reading.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Lytle; one son, Vic A. Lytle and wife Julia, Fort Worth, Texas; two grandsons; and three great-grandsons.

Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at Shiloh United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to a favorite charity. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shiloh UM Church with burial following at a later date. Rev. Larry Van Camp will officiate.
