BMV Has Extended Hours For Election Day

untitledJasper (NNDC/WEHT) – All Indiana residents will need a photo ID to cast their ballots Tuesday, but if you don’t have one don’t panic.

The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles is extending hours at all 132 branches on election day to help those who need an ID.

All branches, including Jasper, have been opened since 6:00 this morning; the same time the polls opened.

They will remain open until 6PM when the polls close.

To acquire an ID card or driver’s license, Hoosiers must present proof of residency, identity, lawful status and social security.
