Lady Cats Win Again; Northeast Dubois Lose In Softball (SCOREBOARD)

Jasper (NNDC) – The Lady Wildcats find themselves 3-0 for the 2016 season after they run-rule the visiting Lady Millers Saturday at the JHS Sports Complex.

Jasper took control of the contest with four run runs in the bottom of the first inning; a two-run home run by Paige Werner the big hit.

An RBI double by Lindsay Mehringer, and an RBI single by Katelyn Hedinger brought home the other two runs in the Jasper first.

Werner had four extra-base hits for Jasper in the ballgame.

Olivis Knies picks up her third win of the young season in the circle for game; striking our nine in six innings

Jasper batters pounded out 21 hits off of two Miner’s pitchers.

Jasper also won the JV game, 14-7.  Emma Hopf had a two-run home run for the Lady Kittens in the 5th inning.


Heritage Hills 7  Northeast Dubois 0

Lincoln City (NNDC) – The Lady Jeeps are shutout in their season opener Friday at Heritage Hills.

Camryn Stemle was 1 for 3 at the plate for Northeast Dubois in the loss.

The Lady Patriots also won the JV contest, 2-0.
