Medical Run Results In Arrest Of Huntingburg Man

Huntingburg (NNDC) – A Huntingburg man was arrested Friday night on a charge of disorderly conduct  while he was being treated at Memorial Hospital.

Huntingburg police say officers were called to an apartment home in the 200 block of North Walnut Street at about 10:45PM.

Police say the 28-year old Thomas Burch was transported to Memorial Hospital for treatment.

HPD says while Burch was at the hospital, be began beating on a door and causing a disturbance in the hospital’s emergency room.

HPD says Burch was advised twice to stop before being placed in restraints.

Burch was taken to the Dubois County Security Center in Jasper after he was medically cleared at the hospital charged with Disorderly Conduct.


Chicago Man Arrested For Disorderly Conduct; Other Charges

Jasper (NNDC) – Jasper police say a verbal altercation between two men outside a local pharmacy store has resulted in an arrest.

Jasper police say 23-year old Melvin Aguilar of Chicago, Illinois fled the scene on foot at the CVS store on West 6th Street as JPD officers arrived at about 10:15 Friday night.

JPD officers initiated a foot pursuit of Aguilar from 8th and St. John Street to 9th and Soliga where he was taken into custody.

Police say Aguilar’s blood alcohol content tested .281%.

He is charged with Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication and Resisting Law Enforcement.
