OUR ORIGINAL STORY…

Jasper (NNDC) – Jasper City police are searching for the hit-and-run driver of a vehicle involved in a three-vehicle accident yesterday afternoon that resulted in over $4,000 in damages. The accident occurred on highway 231 North at Pleasant View Drive at about 3:40PM.

Police say Angela F. Loveland, 51, of Petersburg, was northbound on 231 when her vehicle was struck from behind and pushed into the rear of a vehicle driven by Michael A. Bruner, 31, of Paoli. Loveland and Bruner pulled their vehicles off the roadway, but the third vehicle, a tan Ford minivan that triggered the accident, fled from the scene.

Witnesses say the van is possibly a 2000 model or earlier. The vehicle has an “In God We Trust” license plate, but the numbers are not known. Police say the van should have extensive front end damage. Anyone with information regarding the accident can contact the Jasper Police Department at 812 482-2255. All calls can remain anonymous.
