Edith M. Soellner, 73, Jasper

Edith SoellnerEdith M. Soellner, 73, of Jasper, died Monday (March 7) at the Waters Health Care Center in Huntingburg. She was born in Stewart County, Tennessee, March 1, 1943, to Charles and Margie (Ezell) Bogard.

Edith retired from Aristokrapf Cabinets in Jasper where she worked for many years. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper and the Blessed Virgin Sodality. She enjoyed her grandchildren and reading novels.

She is survived by two daughters, Julie Green and husband Dennis, Loogootee, and Jan Luker and husband Bryan, Holland; two sons, Michael Soellner and wife Regina, Jasper, and Larry Soellner and wife Melissa, Chester, Illinois; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Jennifer, one brother, Steve Bogard, and one sister, Mary Ann Bogard.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and from 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Church. The Blessed Virgin Sodality will lead a rosary service at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.becherkluesner.com.
