Huntingburg Man Involved In Police Shooting Has Been Charged (with VIDEO)

Huntingburg (NNDC) – Zachary Peek, the local man who was shot and wounded as a result of the officer-involved shooting back on February 2nd has been charged.

He was arrested by Dubois County deputies Monday on a Dubois Circuit Court warrant.

Court documents say Huntingburg police learned the weapon the 27-year old Peek allegedly pointed at three HPD officers was “an air gun pistol, commonly referred (to) as a BB gun” that had a revolver-style appearance and a long barrel.

Hew is charged with a Level 5 felony count of intimidation with a deadly weapon as well as a Level 6 felony counts of pointing a firearm and criminal recklessness.
