Bo LeMastus Finishes Career-Best 6th Place At Daytona



DAYTONA, FL (NNDC) – Jasper native James “Bo” LeMastus finished 6th in the opening race of the 2016 ARCA (Automobile Racing Club of America) Lucas Oil 200 at the famous Daytona International Speedway Saturday afternoon.

The 53-year old LeMastus, who is in his fourth ARCA season, started 23rd in the 40-car field and was running as high as 5th before being passed late in the race.  The 6th place finish is the best for LeMastus who owns is #42 Crosley Brands-Glad Precision-T&T Construction car.  When he’s not racing, LeMastus is CEO of Crosley Brands in Louisville, Kentucky, which manufactures vintage electronics under the Crosley Brand name.

In 27 career ARCA Racing Series starts since 2013, LeMastus, finished a previous career-best 8th at Pocono Raceway in 2015. He also finished 9th at Talladega Superspeedway in 2015, 9th at Salem Speedway in 2015, 10th at Kentucky Speedway in 2015,  and 10th at Michigan Int’l Speedway in 2015.

ARCA is a feeder series into the three national touring series of NASCAR (Sprint Cup Series, the Xfinity Series, and the Camping World Truck Series).
