Annetta D. Goller, 102, Jasper

Annetta Gogel2Annetta D. Goller, 102, of Jasper, died Thursday (February 11) at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper. She was born in Boone Township April 14, 1913, to Isaac and Barbara (Mann) Schnarr. She married Mike Goller August 14, 1943, in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boone Township. He died March 1, 1991.

Annetta was a homemaker and a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting, canning, flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Janice Ann Schiller and husband James, Boone Township, and Helen Breitweiser, Jasper; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Alfred Schnarr, and one great-grandson, Garett Chanley.

Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Monday at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Church or to Northwood Retirement Community. Online condolences may be made at www.becherkluesner.com. Funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Pastor Catherine Burnette will officiate.
