Jasper Man Faces Drug Charges; Winslow Man Arrested For Shoplifting (BLOTTER)

A Jasper man faces drug charges following his arrest Friday in downtown Jasper. A Holland man was arrested Friday evening for shoplifting at the Jasper grocery store. Both were arrested, charged, and taken to the Dubois County Security Center.

 

JASPER MAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

JASPER (NNDC) – A 26-year-old Jasper man was arrested late Friday evening for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Jasper City Police report they stopped a vehicle driven by Lucas N. Stiles at 11:30 p.m. Friday for improper headlights. Upon further investigation and assistance from the Huntingburg K-9 unit and the Indiana State Police, marijuana was located in the vehicle and paraphernalia was located on Stiles, who was charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.

WINSLOW MAN CHARGED WITH SHOPLIFTING

JASPER (NNDC) – Jasper City Police were called to the Hometown IGA in Jasper at 9:55 Saturday evening where the store manager had detained Jeremiah S. Parker, 24, of Winslow, for shoplifting. Parker had taken several packages of meat, valued at $68.31. Assisted by the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department, JPD took Parker into custody. He was charged with theft and lodged in the Dubois County Security Center
