Convicted Sex Offender Arrested After Police Receive Call Of Juvenile Forced To Ingest Meth

JASPER (NNDC) – A registered sex offender now faces a felony count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine after police received a complaint that he forced a local juvenile to ingest the drug. Police are also seeking a second suspect in the matter.

The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department says 27-year old Willie Montgomery gave deputies written permission to search his home in the 200 block of East 36th Street Monday morning after responding to the methamphetamine complaint.

DCSD says the local state police Clandestine Team was also called in after meth making materials were found in the home.

DCSD says Montgomery is also registered sex offender who was not in compliance with his registration requirements when he was first contacted by deputies on Monday.

Montgomery is charged with a Level 5 felony of Manufacturing Meth as well as a misdemeanor count of Possession of Paraphernalia.

DCSD is not releasing any other information regarding the juvenile was allegedly forced to ingest meth, but they do say another subject is wanted in connection with this incident. An arrest warrant is being sought with the Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office.
