AT MEMORIAL GYM (HUNTINGBURG)

HUNTINGBURG (NNDC) – Southridge defeated Northeast Dubois, 58-36, Monday night in high school girls basketball action at the Memorial Gym in Huntingburg. The Lady Raiders jumped out to an 18-6 lead in the first quarter, increased it to 31-10 at halftime, and then coasted to victory. Four Raiders scored in double figures led by Kayla Voegerl with 14, Kadie Dearing followed with 13, Sydney Altmeyer 12, and Kendyl McKeough 10. Liz Huebner, Savannah Stafford, and Jessica Kahle each had 7 for the Lady Jeeps. NE Dubois won the jayvee game, 28 to 17.

AT NE DUBOIS

DUBOIS (NNDC) – Heritage Hills splashed to impressive victories in a high school boy-girl swim meet Monday at the Jeep Aquatic Center in Dubois. The Patriots won the girls meet, 134-31, while the Patriot boys prevailed, 116-35. NE Dubois earned two firsts in the girls meet, both by Hannah Beckman. She won the 200 Freestyle (2:20.68) and the 500 Freestyle (6:37.14). The Jeeps claimed four firsts in the boys meet, two each by Quinn Dorsam and Kobi Knies. Dorsam prevailed in the 200 Freestyle (1:59.29) and 100 Backstroke (1:00.78), Knies won the 50 Freestyle (:23.60)100 Freestyle (:54.35).
