Jeffrey D. Perry, 37, St. Henry

Jeff PerryJeffrey D. Perry, 37, of St. Henry, had his life taken from him Sunday (January 10) at his home. He was born in Evansville May 20, 1978, to Bob and Barbara (Kendall) Perry.

Jeff was a 1996 graduate of Southridge High School. He was a construction worker with Elite Environmental Services in Evansville and a member of Laborers Local #561. He attended the Christian Church of Jasper, was a fan of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Indiana University and Purdue University (his daughter’s alma mater). He enjoyed golf and motorcycling.

He is survived by his parents, Bob and Barbara Perry, Huntingburg; one daughter, Phylicia Mendel, a student at Purude; his girlfriend, Kristin Hodge, Newburgh; one brother Tobin Perry and wife Charissa, Seattle, Washington; one sister, Melissa Niehaus and husband John, Bretzville; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. (EST) Thursday at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg, and from 9-10 a.m. Friday at Christian Church of Jasper.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Jeff Perry Scholarship Fund, c/o German American Bank, which is designated for his daughter’s nursing education at Purdue. Condolences may be shared online at Funeral services at 10 a.m. Friday at Christian Church of Jasper followed by burial in Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Pastor Darrel Land will officiate.
