Marylou H. Clark, 84, Jasper

Marylou ClarkMarylou H. Clark, 84, of Jasper, died Friday (January 8) at the Timbers of Jasper. She was born in Washington April 10, 1931, to Ernest and Lora (Kidwell ) Hopkins. She married to James A. Clark, who preceded her in death.

Marylou was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a 40 year member of the Jasper Moose Club. Her hobbies were playing bingo, bonco, roller skating, and playing cards.

She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer R. Beamon and husband Andy, Vincennes; four sons, Paul “Shorty” Clark and wife Cheri, Dave A Clark and wife Sandra, Greg D. Clark and wife Rose, and Brian (BC) Clark and companion Christina, all of Jasper; two sisters, Maxine Haag and Margie Cochran and husband Elsie, all of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren;  and 17 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Ronald J. Clark, two grandchildren, one brother, Donald Hopkins, and a longtime companion, Hubie Fisher.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. Women of the Moose will hold a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Condolences may be made at www.becherkluesner.com. Funeral services at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with burial following in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Loogootee. Father Gary Kaiser will officiate.
