Kenny JacksonKenny A. Jackson, 53, of Ferdinand, died Thursday (December 24) at The Timbers Of Jasper. He was born in Huntingburg September 26, 1962, to Kenneth R. and Alvina (Faulkenberg) Jackson. He married Nancy Lamkin September 11, 1993, at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Ferdinand.

Kenny was a member of St. Ferdinand Parish. He was a truck driver, a former leader of Boy Scout Troop 186, and an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed getting others interested in the outdoors. He enjoyed grilling and received numerous trophies from Barbecue grilling competitions.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Jackson; one son, Stefan Jackson and wife Brittany, Haubstadt; two daughters, Courtney Hill and husband Chris, Muncie, and Keisha Jackson, Ferdinand; one granddaughter, Gracie Hill, and was looking forward to the arrival of a second in June; his father, Kenneth R. Jackson and wife Kathleen, Birdseye; and one brother, Jeff Jackson and wife Kim, Birdseye.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Alvina Vonderheide.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday and from 7-9:30 a.m. Monday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand.
